Grief Support
Healing Hearts Grief Recovery is a support group for people who have experienced any kind of loss. The loss of a spouse, a child, a parent, or even a job. It is for people going through any kind of loss that causes grief. Grief is a heavy burden for any one to bear, especially alone. It takes courage to make the first move and admit you need help with your grief. This support group offers compassion and empathy becuase they have experienced the same losses. Making new friends and learning to rebuild life is the most important part of the class. Participants learn from one another how they are letting go of their grief. We pray for each other, support each other and share with each other. The Grief facilitators are Bernice Ray and Ron Day. If you or someone you know would benefit from the group or would like more information please call Ron Day at 358-0171. Meetings are held every Monday at 12:30 at the Raleigh-Frayser Senior Citizens Center. There is no charge.
