Dr. Ron Johnson, The Counseling Center Ron Johnson, M.Div., Ph.D., is an ordained United Methodist pastor, specializing in pastoral counseling.  He earned a M.Div. from Emory University and a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University.  He is endorsed as a Pastoral Counselor by the United Methodist Church, certified as a Fellow by the American Assoc. of Pastoral Counselors, and licensed by the State of TN as a Clinical Pastoral Therapist.  He is a former seminary professor and counseling center director, and a frequent consultant to community churches and non-profit organizations.  Ron is married and has two children.
