Our Goal: $10,000 in sponsorships

Why?     
Proceeds will benefit the Music Fund.  This fund provides for the church in many ways.  Hiring guest musicians and purchasing special music to name a few.  

What is a Hymnathon?    
A Hymnathon asks choir members to collect sponsorships for their singing one verse of every hymn in the Cokesbury hymnal, all 296 of them!  Sponsor a singer or the entire choir, then come and sing along! Audience members may also make pledges on the spot.  

Here’s how the sponsorship works.  
Premium Level Sponsors
John Wesley level $250
Charles Wesley level $100
Bill Gaither level $50
John Wesley level sponsors will receive a personalized custom hardback Cokesbury hymnal signed by all participating BUMC choir members and accompanists.   

Sponsor a singer with a flat rate.
Example - $1000 for the day, $500, etc.  

Sponsor a choir member per hymn sung.
Example - $10 for every hymn that Todd sings. Suggested $1.00 minimum. We’ll keep score!

Perks abound for the audience as well!

For $5 you can ring a bell to buy an extra verse of any favorite hymn.

For $5 you can bang a gong and buy the right to cancel the singing of a hymn.

 For $5 you can re-bang the gong to trump the hymn cancellation and have it sung instead.  Great Fun!
