Library
The Church Library is located in Room 108C.  It is open anytime the church is open, and directions for checking out books and other materials are posted on the back wall.  We have a large selection of books for for adults (shelved by the Dewey Decimal System), a children and youth section, books for the United Methodist Women’s Reading Program, and an excellent reference shelf. We do ask that reference materials be used in the library and that they not be taken off the church property. If a reference book needs to be used in another part of the church, please sign it out in the notebook under the reference shelves. We also have a fine collection of over 250 audio-cassette tapes of Dr. James Dobson’s radio series “Focus on the Family.” These tapes are thirty minutes on each side and cove a wide range of topics: family relationships, child rearing, teenage problems, and other contemporary issues. A short summary of each tape is located near the boxes containing the tapes. If you have any questions concerning the library, please call the church office at 386-4563 or Dorothy Freeman at 372-0501.

Nursing Home Ministry
Career Transition Ministry
This is an outreach ministry to help those who are currently unemployed.  The class meets on Wednesday mornings at 9am in 200L.  Registration is not required.  Coffee, juice and donuts will be provided.  Anyone with questions can call David Lanthier at 386-8279 or the church office.

Counseling Ministries
We offer individual, couple and family counseling in a faith-based context at affordable rates.  Our church's pastoral counselors are Ron Johnson, M.Div., Ph.D., a licensed (TN) pastoral counselor and ordained UM minister and Debbie Harrison, M.S., a licensed (TN) professional counselor, and Rev. Fred Morton.  Insurance is accepted, though mental health coverage and deductibles vary widely.  Contact the Counseling Center at 384-4035/4036 and ask Ron, Debbie, or Fred to schedule an appointment.

Tape/ Sermon Ministry
We are committed to persons who are unable to participate in worship and special program opportunities.  Many individuals and families have found the door to church participation opened through the audio tapes of our services.  This service is provided free of charge to shut-in members and at a small reproduction cost only fee for others.  You may also download or listen to the sermons by clicking here or on Hear Sermons from the Home page.  Contact the church office with your request for worship tapes.
