Music Ministries
THE WORD BECAME FLESH concert with Dan Goeller

The express purpose of the Music Ministry of Bartlett United Methodist Church is to proclaim the Gospel in music and to serve God and the community of faith with our talents.

        Our prayer:
        Grant that what we sing with our lips,
        we may believe in our hearts,
        and what we believe in our hearts,
        we may show forth in our lives,
        through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Weekly Rehearsal Schedule:

Sundays:
    1:00pm Youth Chamber Choir (audition required)
    2:00pm Advanced Youth Handbells (grades 9-12)
    3:00pm Intermediate Youth Handbells (grades 6-8)
    4:00pm Crossroads Youth Choir (grades 6-12)

Mondays:
    6:00pm Adult Chancel Handbell Choir
    6:00pm Intergenerational Handbell Choir (grades 4-5 + adults)

Wednesdays:
    5:00pm Children's Chimes Choir (grades 1-3)
    6:00pm Children's Music (2 years - 5th grade)
    7:00pm Adult Chancel Choir
    7:00pm Skittlz Youth Acting Group (when scheduled)
    8:30pm Women's Chorus (meets every other week)
    8:30pm Men's Chorus (meets every other week)

Thursdays:
    9:00am Bartlett Bells

*There may be other bells or choir groups that meet at various times throughout the week in addition to those above.

Handbells
English handbells are one of the hottest programs in Bartlett and in church music nationwide. We offer many handbell ensembles utilizing the talents of 4th graders through adults.
The music program brings technical brilliance and joy to worship and is a blessing to all who serve Christ. For more information about a handbell choir for you, simply click on your age group to the right.

Concert Series
The music program presents numerous sacred and secular concerts during the year, in addition to community events such as band concerts, organ recitals, and seasonal celebrations. Watch the newsletters and bulletins for upcoming events.

Sanctuary Organ
Our church is blessed to have the grand Kimball organ that once played in Memphis' historic Ellis auditorium. Through generous donations, the organ was rescued and restored for future generations. (click here for more information about the organ)

		Children's Music Participation in worship and music education are the principal objectives for our younger singers. All Childrens' choir rehearsals are on Wednesday nights from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. Children's Handbells & Chimes choirs meet on different nights. (click here for more information about Children's Music)

		Youth Music Junior and Senior High School drama and music ministry is a top priority in the music program. The energy and enthusiasm is infectious! Youth Music is open to any 6th through 12th graders who like to sing, ring, or play instruments. (click here for more information about Youth Music)

		Adult Music Our fine Adult Chancel Choir serves in worship each week. For advanced musicians, we offer separate Men's & Women's Choruses and a superb Adult Chancel Handbell Choir. (click here for more information about Adult Music)
