     !!!!GARDENERS NEEDED!!!

We would like to help start a COMMUNITY GARDEN in the Horton Community.  They have a great piece of land that would be perfect for a garden.  We just need help in transforming it into a luscious piece of fertile land that will procuce vegetables!

This garden will be a wonderful learning tool to help teach the local children how to be responsible, nurturing and caring.  It will also bring fresh vegetable into the diets of the community plus help teach nutrition and healthy eating habits.

The possibilites are endless if only you help!!

If you are interested, please contact me ASAP__

Spring is fast approaching!!!

TURN ON THE TAP

Thanks to all of those who collected money and turned in their water bottles!!!

DIDN'T TURN IN YOUR WATER BOTTLE YET???

Don't worry, you can still bring them to the church office anytime during office hours.  Can't wait to get a final figure and let you know how many families you gave a lifetime supply of clean water!!!

Thanks for being the HANDS and FEET of CHRIST!

Check out some of what they did:

  • Served 159 homeless persons at St Vincent de Paul
  • Helped sort eyeglasses at Crosslink International
  • Helped sort food at the Mid-South Food Bank warehouse
  • Visited with residents and helped clean at King's Daughters and Sons Home

How awesome to put yourself in the shoes of someone who needs help...and then DO SOMETHING about it!!!
