Children's Ministry Our Children are everywhere! They lead in worship, serve in community kitchens and learn about God through Sunday School and other BUMC programs. Our children experience Jesus and His Love in a variety of ways from praying and serving others.

		Children's Ministry Experienced and dedicated adults offer our children excellent opportunities of growing in the Christian faith in Sunday School and worship and through music and special events.  We also have an experienced staff for our Kids' Day Out and Preschool programs that are dedicated to helping children grow spiritually, physically, and emotionally.

Kids Day Out Offered each Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This provides mothers with free time while offering an opportunity for socialization for their children.  more>> Preschool Classes are offered for children three, four and five years of age providing excellent training for your child's entrance into school. more>> Worship and Sunday School Children are a vital part of our worship experience. Our 6th graders participate as acolytes in both worship services.  During each worship service, children of all ages are invited to come forward for a children's lesson.  At the 10:50 service children ages 3 through 1st grade may leave the sanctuary after the children's lesson and go to Children's Church located in the Fellowship Hall.  Sunday School is available for all children ages 2 through 6th grade.  The Sunday School classes are led by dedicated adult church members and offer our children excellent opportunities of growing in the Christian faith. Confirmation is a year-long process with our sixth graders. Lay leadership and the church staff bring a varied and unique presentation of the Christian faith. Mission projects, trips and special speakers make this a well-balanced program. To bring home the Christian faith our third graders receive Bibles to personally read and study at church and at home. A well-staffed nursery is provided for pre-school children during all worship services, special events, and at other times of need upon request. Choirs/Chimes Choirs of all age levels of children bring their special message of God's love when they sing. more>> Activity Days/Weeks Activity Days let the children use built up energy increative ways. From to mission projects or fun outings these days are a huge success.  more>> Lakeshore Lakeshore, our conference camp along the Tennessee River, has a camping program beginning with kindergartners.
