Rev. Fred Morton
The Counseling Center
A native of Memphis, he grew up in Highland Heights where he was baptized at the Methodist Church there. He graduated from Treadwell High School . He obtained his A.B. degree in history from Princeton University in 1962 and his Bachelor of Divinity from Duke University in 1977.He was recipient of the Bishop Baker Fellowship in Campus Ministry in 1974. He is an ordained elder in United Methodist Church. Fred has been a licensed professional counselor for over 15 years. He holds a Master's degree in psychology from Murray State University and is licensed in the state of TN as a Mental Health Service Provider. Fred's son, Greg, is an attorney in Memphis and his daughter, Dana Watson, is married and mother of two in Jackson MS.
