Appalachia Service Project
The Appalachia Service Project is a Christian ministry, open to all people, that inspires hope and service through volunteer home repair in Central Appalachia. The mission was started by Tex Evans, a Methodist minister. Bartlett United Methodist Church has supported the ASP ministry for this being our 40th year. It is a VITAL ministry in the life of our church. All youth having graduated the 9th grade, college students and adults members and non-members are welcome to be a part of this amazing mission. Just a few days at ASP transforms the lives of those who come to serve. Those that serve at ASP return home with a passion for putting their faith into action with a renewed compassion for other people, and a fresh appreciation for your place and purpose in this world.
