Crossroads Choir Tour--Why They Go

The Crossroads Choir is planning a tour to New York City in 2020!

But why this destination? Going to New York gives our youth the

opportunity to present the message of Christ to one of the largest

and most culturally diverse cities in the world, allowing them to

experience and bear witness to God's love and light in situations

that they would not normally encounter. Sharing God's word in the

"city that never sleeps" is a sign of peace during a time of turmoil

and would help grow the faith of our young people.

Plans for the Crossroads Choir tour to reach out and to "see all the people" (and engage them as well) while in New York include singing: during worship, at a children's home and a homeless shelter, and at a school for differently-abled and intellectually-challenged children, as well as singing the national anthem or "God Bless America" at a Major League Baseball game.

So please lift up the Crossroads Choir and its leadership with your prayers and give generously to support the experience of a lifetime for our youth (and for those whom they serve) as God is glorified and made known through music and ministry.

Please note: All proceeds collected from this fundraising site will go to offset tour costs for the full choir. Go to the "Online Giving" box at the bottom of this page and fill out the required fields. In the box that reads "Other" indicate your giving amount and in the "If other..." box, designate your giving as "Choir Tour Fundraiser". The whole choir will benefit from your generosity by lowering the overall cost for all choir members.

Contributions collected through this giving link will not be designated toward a specific individual's tour payment. A registration and payment link for tour participants will become available at a later date.

THE PEW PROJECT

Bartlett UMC's newest initiative in the naming rights campaign

Individuals, families or groups can honor or remember loved ones by dedicating a sanctuary pew to the glory of God and in the name of someone special for $1200. This is a reduction from the original contribution of $3000.

100% of all funds raised in ”The Pew Project” and “Naming Rights Campaign” will go toward the debt retirement reserve fund. In addition to sanctuary pews, several rooms and furnishings are available for dedication. Any contributions made to the fund should be above and beyond current pledged giving.

If you or any group are interested in this or other “Naming Rights” options please contact either Rachel Hasty or Pastor Andy Thompson at 901.386.4563 for more information on rooms and furnishings available for dedication.
